Azhar claims hell ride

Ed: I received this e-mail from Azhar, a fellow Cyclemotion rider from Johor. Azhar, Bear and Sham came up together and as usual, it was a lively weekend with the bunch of them.

Hi guys,

Yesterday really killing me, what the hell is it? Bike hash or jungle tracking + carry a bike. I don’t mind to cycling 55 KM but push the bike uphill 15KM is worse. Since last 3 years, I never get cramp but after stage 1 ..can I say ..I got cramp all the way. More than 20 times

That Power bar, power gel just doesn’t help me. Lucky I bring oil (this oil is good for my chain too). When you get cramp ,people just see you and say are you okay. Definitely, I’m okay..Ha..Ha. Actually, I’m going to die.

Stage 1 - push every hill.
Stage 2 - also push.
Stage 3 - also push and hit the tree but lucky ada warong get rest 30minute and drink cold lychee.
Stage 4- the hill stiffer than Kota Tinggi and I slept 15 minute.

I wanted to do chicken run but I tell my mind, this too early. From JB to KL, just want to do early chicken run. NO way. But I manage to finish all stage even got cramp.

End of the day ..I can say it’s worth it when my friends get Scott jersey and change with my sport drink. Thanks bear. Feel glad when Sham got Proton carbon frame + fork carbon. Chaw got Proton alloy carbon bike complete set + chain oil. Then Sham and Chaw change their stuff …duno..they like it, maybe. So, yesterday bike hash still worth it.

Chaw and Faye reach Singapore about 10pm but I’m, Bear and Sham reach JB 330am. Too tired and feel sleepy.

Vincent,
Thanks for helping us collect the stuff and also belanja us. Those, mamak restaurant have variety and nice thing to eat. Also, your KL map still with us.

Soh,
After stage 1, I didn’t see you..leh. Are you doing chicken run also? So.. early leh.

Plentong still the best place to ride. Hope can see you all any next bike hash.

Rgds,
Azhar
