Silly DiGi promotion

For the past few days, the phone line was bad. It was a busy period for me and the line signal / bar for DiGi has to be poor, badly broken. It's completely disappointing. There isn't any information provided when I called DiGi Customer Service and no explanation via sms or online.

This is also the first time I had encountered an extremely poor service with DiGi ever since I started using 6 years ago. Wondered if anyone had the same problems.

I was also looking at the family plan promotions and can't help but laugh at a silly promotion as their personnel tells me that the user is eligible to get one free phone with sign-up of a family plan. The plan goes this way, pay initial fee for RM 1,080 for Sony Ericsson S500i and then get RM 180 rebate (RM 10 for 18months). The free phone is only for SE J120i.

Maybe my Englund very wowsy. On the advertising, it says FREE mobile phones and now you say we have to pay first, then free rebate? Absolutely misleading. View ad promo here.

One word - Poor services.

For promotions, never mislead customers. It brings a bad aura. Why? Lousy promotions spread as fast as a good promotion. The power of word-of-mouth advertising is the sharp tongue of customers. If you have bad services/promo, the tongue can spread twice the speed and destroy your company image ..... faster than superman. The worst case of it all, the image is all lost and never gained back. No matter how hard you try to sell your ad, it can never convince the customer.

Try your luck, DiGi.
