The bad & sad news is, an error message returned on the phone saying that it's not a valid 'message code'. I re-sent it and there was no reply. Let me know if the solution given works for any of you.
Something I love or hate ....
1. DiGi Customer Service responded quick enough, within 2 days.
2. The solution doesn't seem to solve the problem with error messages.

I agree with you. Digi has been spamming my number to which I get nasty calls claiming that I started the spam. You know what was Digi's reply to me? "Sorry Sir, we never spam any of our numbers. You have to make a police report".
